A passion to serve
Our board members serve two-year terms. They set policies for our St. Johns Food Share operations, conduct budget and long-term strategic planning, and work hard to maintain our role in the St. Johns community. Our board members come from all works of life and are familiar with our unique local vision.
The board is composed of Food Share members who are elected by the membership at the annual meeting.
Vice President – Dorothy Shattuck, Retired business owner
Secretary – Barbara Quinn, Writer, St. Johns Review
Treasurer – Gwendolyn Morgan, Retired teacher
Member-At-Large – Bob Marquette, Marine services consultant
We also have a number of work groups that include members of the board, St. Johns Food Share, and the community at large. The work groups help with outreach, volunteering, fundraising, operations, training and member relations.
Board meetings are held monthly, with occasional special meetings.
